I bought a Skoda Yeti SE Greenline II TDI 1600cc diesel last year. It's due for a service now at 75,000 miles. In neither the manual nor the service booklet can I see when the timing belt should be replaced. The garage (that sold me the car) is due to pay for the first service and they say it doesn't need a new cam belt until 100,000 miles.
in this video is shown how to replace timing belt and coolant pump on skoda fabia mk2 with 1.6tdi engine
Model: Skoda Octavia 1.4 tsi. Year: 2015. Posted 27 March, 2019. Firstly it should be Β£399 for your car at a Skoda dealer. Secondly, the 5 year interval is recommended by Skoda UK regardless of mileage. The Skoda workshop manual doesnβt even specify any time or mileage just an inspection of the belt at 210000km (160k miles).Model: Fabia Monte Carlo Tdi. Posted 9 August, 2016. The depths of the forum have provided conflicting information about this. From what I can gather the Skoda UK advice is 4 years and 60,000m, but the belt is a Continental lifetime belt and other countries don't recommend these intervals.
In some cases, both the original and its updated design are displayed to help you identify them with ease. In this guide you will find all the Skoda Karoq models. If a car model is specified in blue, it means its motor engine has a timing chain; that is, it has no timing belt. The rest of the vehicles marked in grey have a timing belt/cam belt.
