I have a 2003 Mercedes SLK230 kompressor with the following problem. The warning lights on the left side of my dash are out Ie: Check engine, oil pressure, SRS, water level, windshield washer, etc. do not light when I turn the key on. The instrument lights and the warning lights on the right work normally. Any help please.

1998 SLK230 engine replacement. New to the forum. I was driving down the road last week and my SLK230 died. Had it towed to my Mercedes mechanic who told me the timing chain broke and ruined the engine which would have to be replaced. This is a supercharged version.
